About Deked Down Outfitters

Deked Down Outfitters was formed from our lifelong friendship, passion for hunting and the great outdoors. For the last 20 years, we have been hunting and making memories together. Our families are raising the next generation of hunters who are sharing the same traditions of friendships and memories made in the mud. For us, this isn't a job. Upland

Walk behind seasoned bird dogs across native grasslands in search of quail, pheasant, and chukar. Our guided upland hunts offer classic, action-packed shooting in the heart of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma.

The Lodge

Experience the ultimate hunting getaway with your friends and family at the Deked Down Outfitters Lodge! Our lodge accommodates up to 12 guests in comfortable bunk queen-size beds and features a spacious family room, 2 full baths, a full kitchen, a game room, and a laundry room. The lodge is exclusively booked by your group, ensuring a private and personalized experience. Check-in time is 4 pm and Check-out time is 12 pm.

I got to hunt with Kyle, Blake and Cory a few times. One goose hunt , they put out a big decoy spread and did a great job brushing us in. They had us on the birds and we had a great day, even got a band. Went on a couple duck hunts as well, had great numbers every time. What do I need to bring?

Shotgun, Shells, Mud Boots, Waders (optional)

Which state license do I need?

We scout daily and will take you to the birds. Because our location is so close to the state line, you may need either a Texas or Oklahoma license. We recommend you wait until you arrive to purchase the necessary license.

What time is check in & check out?

Check in is at 3:00pm the day before the hunt. Check-out is 1:00pm after your last hunt.

What does lodging include?

Lodging does not include meals but we do provide a full kitchen with cookware and utensils. Dinner can be added to any group of 8 or more at an additional cost. We also provide linens, towels, soap, and shampoo. You just need to bring personal items such as a toothbrush, comb, etc.

Where can I find the hunting waiver?

Please complete this waiver for each hunter. The waiver must be completed and signed before the hunt can begin. Please contact us with any additional questions.
